about mystictarotinsights

Hi, I'm Michelle, the creator of MysticTarotInsights. I work as a software engineer and have developed lots of stuff over the years. I love to create stuff. I built this site because I want to give people some easy and fun ways to tap into their intuition and make better decisions using both the head and the heart.

Permissions

All the tools on the MTI site are currently free and intended for personal use only. Explicit written permission is required for using any of my work commercially. I know the current reality is that big tech scrape what they want to feed into their Machine and there is nothing much small creators can do about it but it is my intuition that stating our intentions clearly is important.

Word-of-mouth discovery

Nothing on this site is designed for Google or to be search engine optimized. People come first. I do not want to degrade your experience with ads from other people paying for visibility to degrade their sites with ads and so on. The internet can be a space of possibility if we do what we can to take it in that direction. The cost to me is reduced visibility so please let others know about MTI if you feel so inclined.

Privacy

I value privacy, both yours and mine so I keep no data. I did have a login area for the community but decided to remove it for now and keep everything transient, open and minimal.

Reciprocate

I'm happy to put my time, effort, money and skills into MTI to give something (hopefully useful) to the community but I'm also happy to accept money in exchange for the value you get. Reciprocity is a good principle. Here are some of the friends of the site who have helped in one way or another.

Synthetic content

I have used some synthetically generated content in the past. I have now removed it because I don't like the way tools like ChatGPT smooth the language and dull the intent. I do not consent to centralised (centralized) control over all language. My intuition is that we have to be very careful and very mindful about using those tools. The tools are fine (when enjoyed in moderation) but their owners are a bit off.

Collaborating

If you’re a content creator or kindred project and like the MTI site please do reach out to me at hello@mystictarotinsights.com. It could be a shoutout in a video, a dedicated promotion, or a cross-promotion here on the site or perhaps you'd like a new tool or game. All things can be considered.

Have fun!

Feel free to explore the site and share your feedback or questions. I am open to feedback and enjoy hearing from the community!
