About MTI

Hi, I'm Michelle, the creator of MysticTarotInsights. I work as a software engineer and have developed lots of stuff over the years. I love to create. I built this site because I want to give people some easy and fun ways to tap into their intuition and make better decisions using both the head and the heart.

Permissions

All the tools on the MTI site are currently free and intended for personal use only. Explicit written permission is required for using any of my work commercially. I know the current reality is that big tech and grifters take what they want and there is nothing much small creators can do about it but it is my intuition that stating our intentions clearly is important.

Word-of-mouth discovery

Nothing on this site is designed for Google or to be search engine optimized. Ad-networks seem to me to be a Ponzi scheme. You pay the ad-networks for visibility so you can degrade your site with ads from other people paying for visibility to degrade their sites with ads and so on. I refuse to bow to the corporate monopolies that hijack the internet, degrade searches and feeds, steal data and drain the space of possibility. The cost to me is reduced visibility so please let others know about MTI if you feel so inclined.

Privacy

I value privacy, both yours and mine so I keep no data. I did have a login area for the community but decided to remove it for now and keep everything transient, open and minimal.

Contributions

I'm happy to put my time, effort, money and skills into MTI to give something (hopefully useful) to the community but I'm also happy to accept money in exchange. Reciprocity.

Synthetic content

I have used some synthetically generated content. I'm in the process of removing it because I don't like the way tools like ChatGPT smooth the language and dull the intent. I do not consent to centralised (centralized) control over all language. My intuition is that we have to be very careful and very mindful about using those tools. The tools are fine (when enjoyed in moderation) but their owners are a bit off.
